PILGRIM TOUR

Dear friends! This new unique tour was made special for the icon-painters and for each who is interested in the icon-painting. It is very beautiful trip and we hope see you among our participants. Most of the places that we will visit are not available to ordinary tourists.

If you speak English or Russian you can join us and it is not important where you live!

The tour includes visits to the most of all main sightseeing places in Macedonia and Serbia.

The cost of the tour: €1500 per person But you can pay only for Serbia part or for Macedonia part.
- the price includes accommodation, bus transportation, meals, professional English-speaking tour guide;
- the price does not include visa fees, trip insurance and tickets cost to Macedonia and from Serbia.

DAY 1, MONDAY, MAY 14, 2012. Arrival to Skopje (Macedonia).

DAY 2. Tour of Skopje: Sveti Spas, St. Kliment Ohridski Church, Icon Museum, St. Nikita Monastery, St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Kucevishte village near Skopje, St. George Church in Staro Nagoricane. Overnight in Ohrid.

DAY 3. St. Pantelejmon Church, MarkovMonastery, Monastery of St. Andrew near Skopje (Matka), The church St. Spas (The Savior) – Leskoec, The church All Saints (Site Svetiteli) in Lesani. Overnight inOhrid.

DAY 4. Ohrid: Bogorodica Perevlepta, St. Dimitry, Icon Museum, Mali Vraci, The church of St. Constantine and Helena, St. Sophia, Plaosnik, St. John in Kaneo. St. Erasmus cave church. Overnight in Ohrid.

DAY 5. Ohrid: Sts. Nicholas and Bogorodica Bolnicka, Cave church of St. Stephan, Bogorodica pestanska, Monastery of St. Naum.

DAY 6. Kurbinovo, Church of St. Nicholas in Prilep, Monastery of SS. Peter and Paul near Zrze, Veljusha monastery (and, if there is any time, left: Stobi). Overnight in Ohrid.

DAY 7. Early morning departure from Skopje and drive to Kosovo and Metohija (Serbia). Visit to Gracanica and Visoki Decani Monasteries and Pec Patriarchate Medieval complex. Late evening arrival to Novi Pazar. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel at Novi Pazar. Overnight.

DAY 8. After breakfast tour of Sopocani Monastery. Tour of Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery and St. Peter’Church. Drive to Crna Reka Monastery and touring of the cave church. Return to the Hotel at Novi Pazar, dinner, overnight.

DAY 9. In the morning Stara and Nova Pavlica Monasteries and Gradac Monaster Continue to Studenica Monastery and sightseeing of the Studenica Medieval Complex. Late evening arrival to Mileseva Monastery. Dinner, overnight.

DAY 10. Tour of Mileseva Monastery. Drive to Bela Crkva Church for a visit, than to Arilje and tour of Saint Achilles Church. Drive on to Zica Monastery and than to Kalenic Monastery. Dinner, overnight in Kalenic Monastery Dormitory.

DAY 11. Ljubostinja Monastery, Ravanica Monastery and Manasija Monastery. Evening and overnight in Belgrade.

DAY 12. St. Mark’s Cathedral, St. Sava Cathedral, Kalemagdan Fortress, Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Overnight.

DAY 13, SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012. Departure flight.
